A successful, well established firm of chartered accountants based in Yeovil is searching for a highly experienced Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager to join their team as a key addition and pivotal support role to the directors. There is genuine flexibility to mould this around either full time, or part time working arrangements.

Based in Yeovil, this successful firm has developed a strong reputation across the region and further afield acting for very wide ranging clients across varying industries with clients are very varied to encompass the whole spectrum of industries across construction, farming, manufacturing, retail, hospitality & leisure, service businesses and other sectors. The firm has around 500 - 600 clients. Wide ranging in turnovers and industry sectors from small sole traders through to larger limited company OMBs and SMEs and groups - Largest clients turnover around £15 - 16million with audit requirement. The firm suits individuals who enjoy being delegated responsibility in an autonomous environment.

Description

Joining as Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager based from the firms Yeovil offices, you will take on the hands on delivery and management of mixed audit/accounts and wider services to a very mixed portfolio of clients. You will carve a role as a key right hand support to one of the directors who is an RI, with around 10 - 15 per cent of the workload focused on audit work, the largest a group with a circa £10million turnover. The bulk of work will therefore be dealing with wide ranging industry sole trader, partnerships and limited companies across very wide ranging sectors and turnover delivering accounts/tax and wider service to these clients, alongside managing this smaller element of audit work.

Profile

You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified with a career background and range of experience across audit/ accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients up to and over the audit threshold in turnover, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will likely have developed your career to Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager levels and be seeking a role within a close knit team of experienced professionals in a more autonomous set up. There is potential to mould this around either a full time role, or part time, 3 - 4 days a week is equally viable to explore.

Job Offer

Circa £40,000 - £48,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
