Financial Controller / Permanent role / Based in Liverpool / £60,000 - £65,000 plus a fantastic benefits package including a flexible hybrid working pattern.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ACA/ACCA Qualified candidate to join our client who are an award-winning, prestigious organisation within Liverpool.
In this hands on role you will manage, support and mentor a growing finance team, reporting into an impressive Finance Director.
Your role will be broad covering the core duties you would expect of a Financial Controller: Overseeing the timely preparation of the full month end close process with group reporting. P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting. You will predominantly review statutory accounts,VAT/Tax compliance, and support where needed. You will manage the year end audit process and be able to confidently work with auditors. We are looking for candidates who are Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA) with previous experience working within a practice environment.
You will be a highly-motivated candidate, able to bring a strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/ UK GAAP) and enthusiastic approach to this role.
