Commercial Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Worcester based high growth private equity backed business who are looking for a Commercial Accountant on a permanent basis.

This is a truly exciting time to join the business as they enter the next phase on their growth trajectory which has created the need for this role.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will have gained excellent experience in a commercial role where you will have been involved in analysis of costs, revenue streams and trends and will be very comfortable in liaising with senior stakeholders on the finance side as well as the operational side of the business. Excellent communication skills are a must for this role and you will be very used to presenting relevant financial information based upon your audience.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for setting up systems and processes around tendering, creating financial models to support this. You will therefore need to be highly proficient in using Excel and be used to dealing with large amounts of complex data. Pricing skills are essential in this role.

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), you will be looking for a move into a business where you will be able to drive forward your career progression in a role where ultimately you could become the Commercial Finance Manager with a team around you.
