Head Office Dealership Accountant
SF Recruitment are currently supporting a South Birmingham Dealership Group in the recruitment of an experience Dealership Accountant on a part time basis. This role is based around a 30 hour week to provide finance support to 2 specific dealerships within the local area.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within Dealership Finance and be seeking a role that offers flexibility around a 30 hour week.
Based on site, the role will require some visits on a weekly basis to the 2 local dealerships to provide a strong link between operations and finance.
The key duties will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts ensuring they are submitted accurately and to the specified deadline
- Review management accounts and highlight variances from budget and prior year with the management team
- Assist the management teams by resolving any accounting queries promptly
- Assist in the production of external and internal annual budgets
- Monitor budgets and liaise with management regarding variances and cost control
- Produce the year end pack and assist the auditors as required in providing information to generate statutory accounts
