Hays Senior Finance have been appointed by an established Group of companies as they seek to appoint a new Finance Manager / Company Accountant. This entrepreneurial business consists of property, retail and leisure operations across a number of legal entities. Due to ongoing growth and a requirement for increased internal controls and MI the business is looking to appoint a suitably qualified Finance Manager.

As Finance Manager you will take complete control of the in-house function including direct management of three people. There are multiple trading businesses and a holding company, all of which need monthly and yearly accounts produced with meaningful analysis and reporting. The role holder will take responsibility for working with external accountants, the bank and and external IT suppliers.

This is a broad and diverse role suited to experienced accountants from either an SME or a Practice background. Ideal candidates will have prior experience of working with multiple entities and used to a similar role accounts are currently well maintained but there is an intention to bring more work in-house from external accountants. The main driver of this is to provide the management team with more management information and forecasting ability.
