Senior Reporting Manager
Churchill Howard has been engaged to recruit a Senior Reporting Manager for a well-established and respected Financial Services organisation in Birmingham, well-positioned and funded to continue to thrive and grow moving forwards.
As Senior Reporting Manager, you will lead a small team responsible for the preparation of all group regulatory and technical reporting, providing guidance and advice across finance and the wider business.
You will need to maintain a strong understanding of all relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure the reporting is prepared accurately and compliantly. You will also play a key role in the continuous improvement of the Group's processes and controls, leading on the implementation of change projects where relevant.
To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience and strong knowledge of accounting standards relevant to a regulated environment. Whilst Financial Services experience is ideally sought, technical accounting experience (IFRS 9) in other regulated environments will be considered.
You will have a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively to deadlines. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate the strong people management skills needed to lead and develop your team alongside a proven track record of improving processes and controls.
