Finance Business Partner - well known, successful retail related UK business
Ideally a newly or recently qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
£42,000 - £52,000 plus benefits (dependent on experience)
An exciting opportunity exists for a newly qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA to work in this dynamic and growing international retail related business in Somerset as a Finance Business Partner The company has grown organically as well as through strategic acquisitions in recent times and hence looking to strengthen their high profile finance function.
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and working with senior management, the Finance Business Partner will involve the preparation of timely financial reports, identification of improvements in revenue streams, preparation of business plans, business performance evaluation, involvement with delegated project work and the provision of meaningful analysis and commentary. It is a heavily commercially biased position with excellent scope to implement and influence change within the organisation.
Applicants for this Finance Business Partner position should be a newly or recently qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA with the ability to hit the ground running and develop relationships both within the business and externally. Knowledge of management accounting and multi site exposure is preferential.Industry experience (FMCG, technology, retail) is advantageous but not essential. You must have excellent presentation and communication skills with the desire to succeed in a fast moving environment. Strong excel skills are also a necessity and excellent IT literacy.
