Part Time Group Accountant (Natural Resources)

Your new company
An AIM listed natural resources business, with operational assets across the globe and an excellent sustainability ethos. The company are now well backed and are looking to move forward in the next 5 years as they reach financial close on several assets.

Your new role
The role will be to take lead for all in house accounting functions reporting to the CFO. The role will be a part time position, likely 4 days per week, and will be flexible on days and hours depending on experience and suitability.

Duties

• Preparation and ownership of group financial reporting
• Group external audit timetable and planning
• Ensuring application of IFRS guidelines
• Working closely with CFO to deliver first class information to the business
• Liaison with external parties - Audit & Tax
• VAT returns

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified professional with experience and understanding of working in a small business. You will ideally be looking for a part time role (4 days per week), with a strong group reporting experience.
