Financial Accountant

Financial accountant needed for shipping business

Your new company
You will be working for a large, listed transportation and shipping business that have a global presence. This company is Japanese owned and are currently expanding their fleet globally.

Your new role
You will be assisting with the financial reporting for the EMEA arm of the business. This will include monthly financial closing process, balance sheet reconciliations and providing technical accounting advice. You will also be supporting a junior within the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience. Ideally you will have worked within the shipping industry previously but happy to look outside of the sector. You will have experience preparing accounts under IFRS.
