Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be partnering with a prestigious manufacturing business with offices based across the UK to recruit an Interim Financial Controller / Project Lead for a period of 6 - 9 months. This is a remote working position with occasional travel to Sheffield, Liverpool & Wolverhampton and so interested candidates must be able and willing to commute to these locations.

As Finance project lead for the integration of 2 newly acquired businesses in the UK, this position will support the following:

* All accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
* General ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
* Creation and standardisation of financial statements
* Integration of business processes and accounting processes to maintain and strength internal controls
* Preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
* Preparation activities in readiness for the ERP implementation
* Consolidation of group reports and adhoc requests as required

Skills & Experience Required:

* Professional Accountancy qualification CIMA, ACCA, ACA Experience
* At least 5 years' experience in an accounting environment
* Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
* Experience of project and cost accounting
* Proven ability to interact effectively with senior executives
* Proven experience at working within a constantly evolving environment
