THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners Interim Division (Accountancy & Finance) are currently recruiting for a Finance Director (3 month fixed term contract) for our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturing and distribution business based in South Yorkshire. In a central location, the offices are easily accessible from Sheffield, Doncaster and the A1 / M1 motorways.

THE JOB:

Working alongside the Managing Director, key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance function
  • Preparation of Year End statutory accounts
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Managing the fixed asset register
  • High levels of reconciliation work
  • Tax submissions
  • Liaising with auditors
  • Acting as Company Secretary and
  • Coaching and mentoring a more junior team member on a day-to-day basis.

THE PERSON:

  • An experienced finance professional (Qualified / Qualified by Experience)
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of a busy finance function
  • Motivated and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and
  • Highly IT literate with advanced Excel
