With sites across Yorkshire, their Head Office is based here in Leeds, and they are now hiring for a commercially focused Part or Fully Qualified Financial Planning Analyst, to join their growing finance team.

The role is ideally suited to someone with excellent communication skills who has the ability to communicate professionally with external parties and colleagues on detailed financials. You will also have the ability to challenge and improve existing processes and systems, and be passionate about analysing and interpreting large volumes of data.

THE JOB:

The role will report to the UK Finance Director and be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Weekly P&L and KPI Reporting
  • Working closely with operations to develop and maintain a suite of daily & weekly KPI's
  • Working closely with finance to ensure revenues and costs are reconciled and accounted
  • Working with Finance team members to support accounting and reporting processes (including month-end and year end processes), as required
  • Variance analysis, on an on-going basis, including the tracking of actual and forecast performance against key benchmarks
  • Preparation of financial analysis
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, providing meaningful variance analysis, trend analysis and scenario analysis, as required
  • Assist with a broad range of ad hoc projects including finance projects and other commercial projects, as required

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will:

  • Be ACCA/CIMA finalist/qualified - Essential
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role - Essential
  • Have strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills - Essential
  • Have an advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
