Finance Manager

A well-regarded business in Long Eaton is looking for a Finance Manager to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be based in Long Eaton and have genuine opportunities to progress working within this business.

In this high-profile role you will be reporting into the Head of Finance and responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team. You will be helping the business improve their financial service delivery through taking the lead on accurate and timely management information. Your New Role

Key duties of the Finance Manager will include: 

• Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Divisional MD.
• Day to day management of a small finance team whilst working closely with the board to develop them.
• Creating, presenting and analysing financial management information.
• Overseeing and contributing to company account reconciliations, monthly VAT, forecasting, cash flow and other ad hoc duties.
• Working closely with the finance team in order to make improvements to financial processes.
• Contributing to audits and stock takes.

About You

Applications are sought from CIMA, ACCA and ACA qualified candidates who demonstrate:

• Experience working in a busy finance team and managing staff.
• Passion about team management.
• All round accounts experience.
• Understanding of a range of financial reporting techniques.
• Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing.
• Driven.
• Real team player.

Salary & Benefits

The successful Finance Manager will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, alongside an excellent market leading benefits package.
