Group Financial Controller

Superb group finance role for a leading PE backed business that has expanding operations across the UK. This company is renowned for advancement in their field and is a well-recognised name in their industry.

The organisation is undergoing a significant amount of growth and as a result, a new finance opportunity has arisen to support the CFO with providing best in class monthly financial reporting and consolidation of the group entities and managing the statutory accounting. The role will require a keen eye for detail, but also leadership and commercial qualities to take a broad outlook and develop senior relationships to help support the business as it continues to expand.

This key position will play a pivotal part in help delivering long term strategic goals as well as improving the finance and reporting structure, internal controls, developing processes, policies and systems, and ultimately be the key group finance contact for the business.

You will have a solid background in group finance and reporting, as well as commercial acumen to work with senior management and understand business drivers. You will be qualified (ACA/ACCA equivalent) with a strong track record of professional advancement and demonstrable progression in your roles and career to date. Exposure to the power and / or energy sector will be advantageous.
