Property Accountant. Our Client is a wealthy owner / investor with an impressive Commercial/Residential real estate portfolio in Central London who now require an experienced Property Accountant to join their prestigious accounts receivables team.

The Role will jointly be responsible for the billing and collection of over £135 million of rent per annum. Other responsibilities include:

  • Calculating back dated rent.
  • Issuing rent demands to tenants for lease renewals and rent reviews.
  • Checking and sending out of all rent and recoverable charges, demands and statements.
  • Responsible for daily bank reconciliations.
  • Banking and recording of all receipts daily.
  • Calculating late payment interest and raising the necessary charges on tenants' accounts.
  • Taking tenant deposits and handling the administration of sinking funds.
  • Responsible for setting up and updating property, unit and lease records on their property management system.
  • Recording Leasehold Reform Legislation transactions on the property, unit and lease records.

The Person should possess at least 3 years' previous experience of working within the property sector in a similar role (billings or accounts receivables). As well as this, experience in using a property management system such as MRI, QUBE, YARDI would be ideal for this position. If you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, pay strong attention to detail, have a fundamental understanding of the property sector, and can display intermediate Excel skills, then this proves to be an excellent opportunity to broaden your experiences and work for an incredible property company based in Central London.
