You will be working for a globally recognised FMCG business based in Bradford. who is growing from strength to strength.

Your new role

The finance team works in partnership with their commercial functions to make sound financial decisions for the business. Finance plays a critical role in ensuring all their decisions have purpose and drive profitable, risk assessed decisions, enabling them to take advantage of every available opportunity.
Reporting to a Finance Business Partner (FBP) you will be supported through your studies whilst:

  • Supporting the month-end accounting processes to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance.
  • Creating monthly customer performance analysis
  • Delivering insightful reporting to support strategic and commercial initiatives
  • Assisting with the financial budgeting & forecasting,
  • Building and maintaining close working relations with key stakeholders to support and challenge financial performance in your area and beyond


With an active development plan, you'll work towards being fully responsible for:

  • Communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a way that is easily understood and acted upon
  • Create commercial opportunity modelling and decision support including tenders, promotions, ROI etc.
  • Develop existing financial models to support faster and more accurate decision making
  • Work with the Shared service team to ensure accurate and timely accounting & corporate reporting


What you'll need to succeed

  • Enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment, exceeding expectation through self-motivation, organisation and planning
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy to create high quality reporting of data and analytics
  • Professional curiosity to ask the "so what" type questions
  • Ambitious and confident, studying towards a career in finance
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and collaboration skills
