Our client is recruiting several positions for ACA Qualified Chartered Accountants to work on a project for a period of One Year. They are a large international group with a turnover of circa £ 1 billion, and are keen to appoint people from a Top 10, (TOP 4 preferred) original training background.
They are replacing their ERP system, hence the need to move permanent staff onto this project and appoint several contractors to cover monthly and yearly activities as follows:
The incumbent will work within a team where their responsibilities will include the following:
Assistance with structured group month-end close.
To act as primary support for the accounting function of certain subsidiaries.
Monthly consolidation of group companies.
Involvement in the budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries/functions.
Preparation of client assistant package for auditors.
Liaison with auditors.
Ad hoc projects.
Experience & Skills Required
To apply you should be candidate should be ACA qualified (UK/NZ/AUS/RSA or overseas equivalent). As previously mentioned will have ideally completed training at a Big 4 firm. With practical knowledge of multi-currency consolidations and large group structures; Strong Excel skills are a prerequisite; Good IFRS knowledge is required; US GAAP knowledge/exposure would be beneficial
