Transactions Finance Analyst - Real Estate Finance - OUR CLIENT - Has instructed us on a brand new hire. They have a proven and longstanding track record of growth and delivery within the real estate sector, with a particular focus on Pan-European commercial property Investment. They consistently source notable high-growth investment projects all across continental Europe and the UK. As a result of continued portfolio growth and opportunities, they are currently seeking a pro-active Transactions Finance Analyst to join their Real Estate finance team. The Role will require to fulfil the following duties:

• Providing thorough daily updates on allocated deal progress to the onboarding team.
• Taking control of at least one jurisdiction to make sure a smooth onboarding of new deals occurs.
• Leading weekly calls to monitor progress on new acquisitions and ensuring any action points are dealt with.
• Reviewing completion statements, either through assisting external advisors or dealing with internally. This includes producing clear working papers which have covered all relevant elements.
• Collaborating with teams to map sellers and create ETL's for upload of opening balances from financial completion statements.
• Delivering top quality process and control documentation after the onboarding of a new transaction.
• Working with external advisors to ensure the company obtains all required acquisition documentation and completion accounts.
• Creating and understanding pre-acquisition, SPA and PPA Journal adjustments, ensuring the documentation is able to be audited and clear.
• Ensuring you meet tight deadlines.

THE PERSON: YOU - will be a fully qualified chartered accountant and will have at least three years of post-qualification experience. You will be organised, have strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to take the initiative. An understanding of acquisition accounting is beneficial. An Audit background is also desirable as is experience using property software (Horizon, YARDI, QUBE, etc.) is preferable.
