CFO

A well-loved publishing house is looking to recruit a CFO as they look to continue to grow the business through a number of upcoming projects. Dynamic and innovative, this stand-out company works across multiple different platforms to bring their audiences new sources of entertainment. This full-time, permanent role is based in London.

Your New Role

The newly appointed Chief Financial Officer will:

• Manage projects.
• Promote the effective use of resources and highest standards of business practice.
• Take appropriate financial governance and risk management arrangements with active contribution to governance at all levels.
• Support the existing finance team.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will have daily leadership responsibilities across the whole company, from Finance/Accounting/Risk & Compliance through Customer Services, Legal, and Administration. This is a true leadership position with the potential to have a significant influence as the business seeks to grow its workforce over the next three years. You will be working with the Leadership team to analyse and drive performance in each function (mapping, establishing, and analysing KPIs) as well as short, medium, and long-term planning with the Chief Executive and Shareholders.

About You

The business looks to appoint a CFO who demonstrates the below:

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA Qualified.
• Extensive experience working within the media/ publishing space.
• Prior exposure to high growth SME environments
• Entrepreneurial and proactive with great communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong leadership skills.
• A track record of implementing/improving accounting systems.
• Passionate about media and keen to progress a career in the industry.

Salary

On offer for the CFO will be a salary of £130,000 - £140,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus competitive benefits.
