Your new role
Working in a busy and dynamic operation this new position will oversee the financial accounting team in providing financial performance information and commercial financial support for two business units. Responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and annual closing processes for the UK
• Month end reporting including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Coordinate the SOX activities including the monthly balance sheet reconciliation processes
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Group statutory accounting
• Corporation tax returns
• Submitting reports to government agencies
• Working with the external and internal auditors

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you would have completed the ACA or ACCA qualification and have a proven track record working in a role recently of similar stance. You will ideally have trained in a professional accountancy practice and have a demonstrable broad finance experience in the commercial sector to include statutory accounting and corporation tax. Experience working for a US or multi-national business would be ideal. The successful person will be able to work effectively using their own initiative, display commitment and a stable and progressive track record and have a supportive nation and be open and adaptable to change.
