Financial Analyst - up to £50k

We are working with our Financial Services Group client to hire a Financial Analyst on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

The role is to provide reporting and analysis to the Investment Banks finance team on regulatory reporting and analysis of competitors both regionally and globally.

Responsibilities include:

• Global management reporting
  • Support business initiatives with ad hoc projects such as results presentation and annual planning
  • Support global partnerships with variance analysis
  • Monthly and quarterly global management reporting, revenue and pipeline review
• Competitor and market environment monitoring and reporting
  • Monthly review of global and regional market environment, trends and deals
  • Quarterly review of competitor results, production of league tables and understanding of key drivers
• Other adhoc duties

Skills required:

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and highly numerate
• Confident and clear communicator (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
• Manage a varied workload
• Advanced excel, ability to manage large volumes of data
• Proficient PowerPoint user and good presentation of data

Experience and background:

• Part qualified accountant or QBE
• Experience in a similar role
• Management reporting experience
• Corporate environment experience; ideally Financial Services or Professional Services
