Fund Accountant

Fund Accountant - Private Equity & Real Estate. Our Client are a highly-regarded and well-known alternative investments company that focuses on Fund Accounting for Real Estate and Private Equity clients and they are now looking to add a Fund Accountant to their ever-growing Fund Accounting team.

The Role will see the individual working closely with senior members of the team, taking on responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for one or more assigned structures. Other duties include:

• Responsible for bookkeeping transactions and maintenance of accounting records for multiple client entities.
• Preparing timely and accurate accounting output for subsequent review by the senior members of the team or client.
• Preparing monthly/quarterly reconciliations of management accounts.
• Preparing annual statutory accounts in line with appropriate accounting standards.
• Supporting payment processing in accordance with policy and strict deadlines.
• Ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.

The Person should be a part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 1 year of previous fund accounting experience in a similar role. The individual should also be able to display a strong technical understanding of funds and financial services legislation, as well as a fundamental understanding of FRS and US GAAP. If you fit these criteria, can demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, and looking to gain more exposure working within real estate funds, then this proves to be an exciting opportunity for you.
