Financial/Statutory Accountant
Central London
£300-£320 Umbrella per day or 60k FTC equivalent
Our client, a Global Media business, are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on an Interim basis for 3 months. The role is to help with year end and the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage year-end audit process
- Production of annual consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of year-end Statutory Accounts
- On-going implementation and monitoring of SOX controls and testing
- Act as an advisor to the wider finance and non-finance areas on all aspects of controls compliance and provide expertise and support for new initiatives
- Provide technical training on changes to UK GAAP to Finance Team
- Internal Reporting and Accounting
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience with Onesource accounting software is a must.
- Experience with Hyperion would be an advantage.
- Have demonstrable audit/SOX experience
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Excellent microsoft excel knowledge
