Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well-established, rapidly expanding and highly profitable firm in Sheffield with the appointment of an Assistant Finance Business Partner to strengthen one of their growing divisions. You will be instrumental in supporting the business and aid with the delivery of the overall business strategy. Due to unprecedented demand, they have further ambitious growth plans which are intended to be rapid over the next few years as the business is led firmly by a strong and determined management team.
The Assistant Finance Business Partner will support the finance team to ensure the delivery of business objectives, through the provision and interpretation of key management information.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
*Attending weekly build and sales meetings which form the basis of our unit forecasting and business planning
*Assisting the FBP, you will partner non-finance professionals to help them understand, interpret, and act upon key financial and metric driven data
*Collating and reviewing key information, and working with commercial teams to ensure reporting is always up to date
*Supporting the FBP in reviewing valuations: attending review meetings, quality assuring, validating information, challenging decision making and providing financial support to the commercial teams
*Reviewing the cashflow forecast produced by commercial teams
*Inputting into business case reviews, involving review and recommendation as well as complex financial modelling
*Making informed judgements and providing insightful commentary on the data
*Regular visits to regional offices to develop operational understanding and develop key relationships
*Ad-hoc support as required by various stakeholders across the business, including senior members of both the finance and commercial teams
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
*A qualified Accountant (e. ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
*Previous commercial or business partnering experience
*Experience from either industry or practice will be considered
*Excellent communication skills and proven ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
*High attention to detail, ensuring integrity in financial reporting and written reports
*A strong IT user able to deal effectively with a high volume of data
*An ambitious team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to lead others
*An inquisitive nature and desire to understand and impact the numbers
*Attention to detail, ensuring that reporting is both accurate and complete
*Ability to present complex data, to those with little finance experience, clearly
