Logistics and Operations Manager

A high growth wholesale and distribution business is recruiting for a Logistics Manager on an initial 9 month contract, with high potential to go permanent. This is a newly created role aimed at giving the organisation increased business intelligence and coordination across multiple aspects of the distribution chain.

As the Logistics Manager, you will be:

• Managing 3 direct reports across supply and demand planning, warehousing and customer services
• Ensuring customer delivery is on time and the process has adequate controls
• Undertaking review of processes
• Ensuring correct levels of stock are made available to customers from warehouses
• Coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to ensure adequate resources are in place to manage order volumes
• Communicating monthly operations report to senior leadership and management

The ideal candidate will be from a wholesale and distribution background. You will have a demonstrated background in supply chain, customer services and warehousing.
