Financial Planning & Analysis
Nottingham | £45,000 - £55,000
A profitable Nottingham based business is on the lookout for a FP&A Analyst to join its growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exceptional time to join the business as they have averaged 25% revenue growth for the past 4 years with plans to accelerate this in the future, including increased international trade and probable acquisitions. This is an exciting new role with lots of autonomy for an ambitious, bright individual who likes a challenge and wants to help develop and shape the finance function. The FP&A Analyst role will be varied and covers a range of financial functions including management accounts, financial analysis, budget production and management, treasury and compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The incoming FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the below.
Financial Analysis & Planning
- Act as a key member to the strategic development of the business.
- Improve efficiency and transparency by developing automation and systems and modernising processes.
- Financial planning and management of costs / revenues, including preparing accounts for audit.
- Management of costs/revenues.
- Financial planning.
- Preparing for audit.
- Creation of reporting and analytics to create insight and recommendation for positive change and improvement.
- Budgeting.
Financial/Management Accounts
- Production of full Management accounts.
- Management of Fixed Asset register.
- Review and reporting of month end.
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Analysis of results.
- Development of reporting.
- Ad hoc report.
Treasury/Other
- Management and reporting of Cashflow.
- Currency Management.
- International compliance.
About You
Applications are invited from ACCA qualified Accountants who demonstrate:
- Audit experience.
- Good IT skills, especially on Excel.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing demands.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Desire to develop own skills and improve finance function.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
The Benefits
On offer for the new FP&A Analyst will be:
- A salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, DOE.
- 25 days’ holiday + Bank holidays.
