Our client, an Exeter based business are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.
The role will report into the Financial Controller with main responsibility to lead and co-ordinate the preparation of the month end and statutory accounts.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with strong reporting and communication skills.
Duties:
- Preparation and analysis of the month end management accounts
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- To prepare financial models and monitor capital projects, maintaining the fixed asset register
- Support, challenge and advise the wider business to promote continuous improvement
Candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills
- Experience of preparing audit queries and dealing with audit requests
- A 'can do' and commercial approach to problem solving
