Revenue Project Accountant

The Revenue Project Accountant will be primarily responsible for supporting a Revenue Quality team in the build up to a significant financial systems migration. The role holder will conduct a thorough review across a number of existing client contracts to quality assure the integrity of the data whilst implementing the changes necessary to support the data conversion that will take place as part of the transformation programme. Additional duties will include monthly revenue related accounting activities.

Project Accountant Responsibilities:

• Obtaining, reviewing client contracts supporting open active revenue projects
• Performing projects and client data validation and data cleansing tasks
• Liaising with various stakeholders to source appropriate evidence to support revenue recognition in line with SOx controls and the revenue recognition policies
• Assisting in implementing process changes required to support system data conversion
• Monthly revenue related accounting activities
• Providing support for internal/external audit and SOx (s404) testing
• Ad Hoc support to project team

   

Candidate Requirements:

• Part qualified / Finalist level with previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of revenue accounting and reviewing client contracts would be beneficial
• Previous experience of working on finance systems projects
• SOX/Audit compliance experience extremely advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail
• Methodical/analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills
