VP Finance & Accounting EMEA

VP Finance & Accounting EMEA | £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus

In this role you'll support the SVP and CFO of EMEA with a range of technical, statutory, and reporting projects. This is a highly-acquisitive environment, so you'll gain broad exposure in a growing company. Friendly, supportive team and great line manager!

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Statutory Accountingsuch as oversight of local statutory audits, supporting local management accountants as and when needed and ensuring compliance with local filing deadlines
• Preparation of UK Group Accounts, including consolidation, impairment reviews and cash flow statement
• Reviewing UK subsidiary accounts prepared by local finance leads
• Systems, such as acting as a "Champion" of the finance related global systems for the EMEA region. This would include managing access rights and ensuring databases are maintained.
• Acting as the main point of contact for all queries related to the global finance system and liaising with the global controller on how to fix problems or implement new requirements
• Acquisitions accounting such as transition of acquisitions,
• assisting local accountants with setting up new offices for VAT, Payroll, cash-flow & leases
• Ad-hoc, such as supporting the FD/CFO with FP&A and projects

Key competencies:

• Ideally you will be ACA qualified with 2-4 years post-qualified experience
• High proficiency in Excel
• System-minded outlook (experience of NetSuite would be ideal, but not a pre-requisite)
• Understanding of UK corporate tax rules
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail
