Global Media Agency are looking for technically strong and commercially savvy Senior Commercial Compliance Manager to help manage the business client auditing program. Working as part of a team of eleven, you will support the Global Client Finance Director and Managing Partner for two of the Agency’s top global accounts.

The Agency and the Global Commercial Team work with a large portfolio of global clients across the automotive, FMCG, luxury and financial sectors. You will therefore be an integral part of a dynamic worldwide team, gaining best in class experience and exposure to global media challenges across a wide range of clients at the forefront of creative, adaptive and innovative media solutions.

The role - Senior Commercial Compliance Manager:

  • Co management of agency client audit program
  • Facilitate the management of the markets/ auditors
  • Negotiation of contract compliance scopes of audit, NDAs and MRLs
  • Control of the annual agency client certification process
  • Post audit review and advice on the remedial plan/agreement of any changes to agency processes
  • Notification/escalation of key audit/commercial issues to management
  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of any agency systematic compliance or reporting issues
  • Resolution of Group Internal audit compliance issues
  • Assistance with the drafting and implementation of client commercial guidance to include peer reviewing commercial documents
  • Provision of contractual advice namely to the Global Commercial Team and markets
  • Agency compliance/ contractual training and development
  • Ad hoc hands on support to the Global Commercial Team

The person:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
  • 8+ years of industry commercial/financial experience
  • Commercially astute: Ability to engage a general commercial view across the business, understanding the core business and its challenges
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Robust experience of negotiating in particular client contracts/NDAs
  • Demonstrable experience of working across various departments of a business and, in particular, legal, compliance, commercial and client handling
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts and terms of engagement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well
  • Proven experience of managing staff
  • Preferably working knowledge/experience of international markets
