Audit Senior

The Audit Senior will be expected to assist the Managers in execution of audit field work and audit file completion, and to carry out Account's preparation and to manage and allocate work to trainees.

Description

The Audit Senior will be expected to, but not limited too;

• Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
• Plan Audit assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review
• Take charge of smaller audits
• Supervise, delegate and review work to juniors
• Deliver information to client in timely manner
• Display in depth client and industry knowledge
• Manage client communication in affective manner
• Achieve agreed chargeable time targets
• Monitor chargeability on a weekly basis
• Identify where there are shortfalls of work to cover chargeability and alert Managers
• Monitoring stock takes

Profile

The successful candidate will be;

• Preferably ACA/ACCA qualified or equivilant (Part qualified with good relevant experience will also be considered)
• Experience of completing private company audits: planning, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, budgeting the time budget for the job
• Reviewing audit and accounts files (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of and experience using analytical review
• Good working knowlege of accounting software
• An excellent communicator, with an eye for detail
