As Finance Business Partner you will play a key role in the management of local budgets, shaping strategic financial forecasts and supporting decision making through working with the leadership team and colleagues based across different sites.

As a Finance Business Partner you will be technically competent with excellent communication and relationship building skills and will have the ability to liaise with a wide range of non finance managers. You will play a key role in supporting decision making and producing high standard of quality management information and financial plans.

You will be supporting colleagues across several sites within Yorkshire and the Humber and so will be comfortable organising your time to spend 1 - 2 days with colleagues on site (more if you prefer) and the rest of the time can be spent working from home or collaborating in person with finance colleagues.


To be successfully considered for this role, candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA)
  • Excellent knowledge of finance systems - ideally an ERP such as Agresso or SAP
  • Experience of accounting for grant funded activities
  • Collaborative and coherent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous line management experience
  • Previous experience of establishing and developing productive partnerships both internally and externally

Job Offer

A salary of c£40,000 - £50,000 depending upon relevant experience
