Tax Senior - Andover

Experienced personal tax senior ATT CTA accountancy practice Andover

You will be working for a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors who are currently looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join their busy Tax Team, based mainly in their Andover office.

As a Personal Tax Senior you will be responsible to the Tax Manager, and ultimately the Tax Director, and your duties will predominantly involves personal tax compliance with some tax advisory aspects. You will be responsible for the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns and other tax based submissions for a mixed portfolio of personal tax clients, liaising closely with the portfolio holders.

Duties will also include the preparation and submission of P11D, CT61, NRL and CIS Returns, the preparation and submission of residential capital gains accounts to meet statutory filing requirements and assistance with tax administration, notices of coding, dealing with routine correspondence with HM Revenue and Customs and clients.

Ideally you will be ATT and/or CTA qualified (or "qualified by experience") with extensive tax return and P11D preparation experience - ideally at least five years in another accountancy practice. You will have good working knowledge of computer packages and experience of using IRIS would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible and adaptable to business changes and the seasonality of the tax compliance cycle and have the ability to plan workflow and meet deadlines. You will be well presented and possessing the necessary attitude and personality that is associated with a professional firm and able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills with staff and clients alike.
