Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

A popular retailer are looking to add a Commercial Finance Analyst to their team based in London.

You will be responsible for Working on the Budgeting and re-forecasting of sales and margin, working closely with the Trading and Operations teams on their category and store forecasts respectively, building and populating forecast models and templates that are robust and adaptable to different scenarios, all presented in a clear and understandable manner. You will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the assumptions and impacts within the forecast and be able to explain these to non-financial stakeholders, Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly phasing of forecasts. Analyse and understand impact of key events at a format and category level. You will provide financial insight and support for the Store re-opening plan with P&L creation to determine optimum re-opening schedule, weekly reporting on store re-opening performance and manage the forecasting system, hierarchies and data uploads - TM1 and supporting the Commercial Finance Manager in ad hoc commercial analysis.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a commercial role with a strong analytical background. You will be part-qualified/finalist ACCA/CIMA with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
