My client, a leader in the hospitality sector, is looking to add a skilled Finance Manager to their team for a nine month maternity cover.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Preparation of BAS Returns, Group and Payroll Tax Returns and FBT
  • Payroll processing and management including Superannuation returns and employee entitlements
  • Reconcile Bank, A/R, A/P General Ledger and Payroll accounts on a monthly basis
  • Develop and manage the budgeting process
  • Preparing monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Preparing cash flow projections, both short and long term
  • Strategic input into the financial and business needs of the Restaurants
  • Play an active role in assisting management in the risk assessment process and embedding a risk management culture throughout the organisation.
  • Liaise with key bank personnel regarding the accounts and loan facilities when required
  • Provide leadership to the administration team

Before applying for this role please ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Accountant, ACA Ideally
  • Experience of working in/with a multi-site environment and ideally in hospitality
  • A full 'hands-on' approach to working with good team working skills
  • Enjoys a fast-paced working environment with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills particularly with external Auditors and Tax advisors
