Management Accountant, Marketing Agency, London, c£50,000

Newly created opportunity to join a renowned marketing agency within one of the 4 big advertising group. As part of a UK Finance team, you will be reporting into the FC and have ownership of the Agencies P&L and Balance Sheet.

Being part of a large network of agencies and one the largest Marketing Services Groups this is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Management Accountant.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation & Analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, and forecast submissions, working closely with the Finance Director to manage all related internal and external reporting queries
• Preparation of various reports presenting financial results for senior management team
• Preparation of weekly revenue tracker reports
• Quarterly internal audit assessments to ensure compliance
• Working Capital – analysis of monthly submissions, plus management of credit analysis systems
• Produce accruals for all overhead costs, review overheads posting and report on variances
• Prepare monthly fixed assets, prepayments, foreign exchange postings
• Input & reconciliation into finance system on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Ad-hoc Duties relating to business information requests and month / quarter end reporting

Skills, Education and other requirements;

• Fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
• Experienced Excel user
• Good finance systems experience. Exposure to Peoplesoft and/or Microsoft AX would be a bonus
• Experience of assisting with or owning the preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
• You should have a high standard of numeracy and communication skills, with a great eye for detail
• You’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to keep positive, even when you’re busy
• You’ll be reliable and responsible and take pride in your work
