Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading Technology business in Leeds who are seeking a French speaking accountant to join their European finance team.

Based out of the Leeds Head Office and reporting to the European Financial Controller the role will be responsible for revenue reporting, billing, and forecasting across the entities managed by the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:-

-Responsible for revenue accounting for all entities within the French Region.
- Maintain monthly contract asset and contract liabilities schedules and revenue reconciliations.
-Process the monthly billing for the supplier and buyer customers accurately and as timely as possible.
-Provision of revenue information for the entities within the French Region both to local Commercial Teams and the Group Finance Team.
-Provision of monthly management information in line with the Group agreed reporting both locally and to Group and any other ad-hoc financial reporting.
-Involvement in the budget and forecast process.
-Adherence to and improvement of financial and linked operational controls across the Group.
-Ensure the financial information is prepared on a consistent basis with the local and Group accounting policies which report under IFRS.

Skills & Experience:-

-Proven competency in spoken and written business French, in an assertive but tactful manner.
-Ideally, practice trained and ACA qualified but will consider ACCA and CIMA.
-A team player who integrates easily and communicates positively.
-Highly organised with a methodical approach and with the ability to manage own workload.
-Ambitious, seeks to improve personal performance.
-Able to deal with confidential financial and personal information in a discrete manner.
-Strong IT skills with good Microsoft Excel knowledge.
