Commercial Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a successful Engineering group as they look to recruit a commercially-minded qualified Commercial Management Accountant for their Rotherham-based offices.

The purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis and reporting to the senior management of the business and will assist them in making high quality commercial decisions based upon strong financial analysis. The role is a high visibility one within the organisation and will have direct interaction with the CFO and other Executive Management Team members.

This will be a challenging and highly diverse role with duties to include:-

* Preparation of monthly management accounting pack and contract reporting
* Responsibility for preparation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasts
* Providing full commentary and variance analysis on accounts
* Collation, analysis and reporting of commercial and operational data
* Financial Planning and Analysis along with financial modelling of certain scenarios
* Annual budgeting
* Prepare pricing models and work with commercial management on analysis of all commercial
business cases
* Ad hoc financial analysis for any business decisions

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*Qualified CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA
*Able to effectively work to and meet strict deadlines
*Be able to build relationships at all levels and establish absolute credibility with stakeholders, particularly colleagues, and convey information effectively
*A high level of attention to detail
*Good business acumen
*Good problem solving abilities and a self-starter
