Your new role
An opportunity for a tax adviser to join the UK tax team in this large and complex global organisation. This may be a first move into commerce. Working as part of a team of four tax professionals involved in UK corporate tax compliance and project work for a large UK tax group and part of a wider UK tax team.

• Responsible for a portfolio of group companies, preparing corporate tax computations, supporting the businesses by producing tax disclosures for inclusion in their statutory accounts, giving ad hoc tax advice and negotiating with HMRC.
• Assisting the Head of UK Corporate Tax by developing specialist knowledge to support the businesses particularly in the areas of property related tax issues and complex capital allowances claims covering the group's large and diverse UK property portfolio and research and development tax relief claims on business development projects.
• Involved in working with the UK businesses to understand and implement the Group's newly developed Transfer Pricing Manager software for a number of UK legal entities
• Supporting the UK Head of Tax in year-end group reporting to under IFRS, cash tax forecasting and quarterly reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA and or CTA qualified with good technical tax skills and accounting knowledge and some post qualification experience, proactive and enthusiastic about developing their tax career in a large and complex commercial organisation

Our client is looking for someone with a combination of good inter-personal and tax technical skills. You must be a good team player who is self-motivated and has the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines where necessary.
