The Management Accountant Role:

Working in a dynamic Finance department, the Management Accountant will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of NFI and the management of internal payroll processes.

Key Duties:

+ Preparation of monthly sales analysis for some entities within the group.
+ Update daily cash availability spreadsheets to ensure liabilities can be met.
+ Provide Ad hoc analysis.
+ Managing the monthly payroll process, including:
+ Maintaining the payroll system
+ Uploading new employee data and processing leavers
+ Calculating commissions and liaising with business leaders to ensure accuracy
+ Manage HMRC obligations and compliance through PAYE, P11D and PSA submissions and payments.
+ Manage employee pensions
+ Help coordinate payrolls for international entities and liaise with external accountants
+ Post payroll journals and assist in the reconciliation of corresponding balance sheet accounts

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified professional Accountant with relevant experience working in a busy Finance team.

+ Able to work well in fast paced environment
+ Self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative
+ Applicable Excel skills
+ Strong analytical and numeric skills
+ Enthusiastic and energetic
+ Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders – internal and external

Nice to have:

+ Recruitment industry experience
+ Experience of Sage x3
+ Experience of Sage 50 Payroll
