This South Manchester-based job opportunity is going to be part of a General Practice's micro advisory unit; a new partner has been brought aboard to build out the capability. As a practice they hold a reputable presence helping businesses grow both locally and further afield. They provide astute services ranging across the board from accountancy to tax - and have have done for almost a century.

The new advice-oriented function has been developed, in part, due to the demand of the general practice clients, as well as the aim to capitalise on new opportunities on a broader scale. This service is enabling businesses to expand in smarter and more tax efficient ways and it is time to expand further, to meet the rising demand.

Your new role
Your new role is one that will be broad in nature. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the firm and learn from an experienced tax adviser, across all manners of taxation. You will be out developing business together, and meeting with clients from the outset. The advice partner aims to provide the successful applicant with the full exposure of work that they themselves deal with, including the delivery of it, to facilitate your personal growth, as well as the growth of the department.

What you'll need to succeed
Delivery of the work in this job is expected to be taken with due care and attention; therefore an individual that is keen to learn and expand the breadth of their expertise to date would be the ideal applicant. It can be tricky to infiltrate tax advisory work as a full-time remit, but this job opportunity will be offered to any individual that demonstrates a willingness to learn. A solid grounding an accountancy practice's tax department is essential, but the level of experience required is flexible, depending upon the applicant, and their attitude. My client is looking for someone to come in and help them shape the direction of this practice so a progressive instinct in the successful applicant is also desired.
