Holden Jones is delighted to be representing this prestigious charitable organisation as they seek to appoint a Finance Manager on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Director of the organisation you will overall responsibility for all financial matters of the Trust up to and including production of the monthly management accounting packs, consolidated accounts, budgets, forecast and cash-flow projections, preparation of the VAT and Gift-Aid returns and liaising with the external accountants in respect of year-end accounts and audit preparations.
This role is based around a 25-hour working week with days worked to be mutually agreed between the successful candidate and the Trust. Ideally you will have a recognised accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA etc) although this is not a pre-requisite. However, you must have prior and extensive experience of working for a charitable organistaion and a strong working knowledge of charity accounts preparation. You will have strong IT skills, including Xero and Excel and importantly excellent communication and inter-personal skills and a passion for contributing to a highly worthwhile charitable Trust.
