Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a growing services company that have operations spanning across Europe. This Finance manager role will report to the Finance Director and will be directly responsible for the financials for their German subsidiary. The role will therefore be entirely remotely based from home and the successful candidate will be fluent in German.

The Finance Manager is the driving force within the Corporate Accounts division and will be responsible for analysing and communicating all financial information in relation to strategy and business planning for the subsidiary business. You will work closely with operations/sales to ensure efficient and effective information flow and accuracy as well as adding value on financial information gained, providing clear communication to business owners.

Duties & Responsibilities will include: -

· Management of finance and accounting for the German Subsidiary
· Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements of the companies according to German GAAP (HGB) and US GAAP as well as balance sheet planning and forecast
· Responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger including liquidity planning, receivables and cash management, insurance and taxes
· FP&A activities for German entity in the form of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet forecasts and variance analysis, as well as annual plan
· Cash flow planning
· Active operational involvement in daily business
· Support with auditors, accountants, tax consultants, banks and authorities
· Development of the department, in particular with regard to the standardization and digitization of financial processes
· Management of and collaboration on projects
· Preparation of analyses, statistics and reports within the scope of financial controlling being the finance referent of the central finance function
· Process optimization and monitoring

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences

*CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified
*Language fluency in German
*Previous experience in a similar financial management role
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with deadlines
*A self-starter who is results-driven
*Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills

You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.

This is a full-time role offering good benefits including a competitive salary (Dependent on experience) as well as 25 days holiday + stats. It is typically a 37 hour working week working Monday to Friday, 9 - 5.
