Interim Financial Controller

Elevation Senior Finance are pleased to be partnering with a private Manufacturing business based in the West Yorkshire region to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for a period of 12 months. This is an interim requirement to provide support throughout a period of internal change. As part of a large manufacturing group you will be working on site at a newly acquired £10m turnover business and manage the accounts, eventually migrating the finance function to head office.

The Interim FC will be responsible for:

* Weekly finance stats & month end reporting to Group
* Timely and accurate production of management accounts, including explanation of variances
* Product costings and department spend
* Preparation & submission of monthly UK VAT data to Head Office
* Cashflow and working capital analysis and forecasting
* Review and improve reconciliations, processes and controls
* Payroll data for submission to head office (eg commissions / overtime / joiners / leavers)
* Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger
* Attendance and inputs into any sales & operation planning meetings
* Potential to help with the implementation of a new ERP System (Sage 200) going forward.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Ideally Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE Accountant
* ERP/finance system experience; Kerridge experience essential & ideally knowledge of Sage 200
* Advanced Excel knowledge
* Previous experience as a Finance Controller / Manager, within a SME
manufacturing or distribution environment
* Experience of financial and management accounts preparation
* Resilient and confident
* A hands on approach
* Available immediately or on short notice
