Your new firm
A specialist tax consultancy business within a Lancashire firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to appoint a Tax Director who can work with the partners to grow the department. This role will be to take a lead in their Private Client team which mainly advises on mergers & acquisitions and other significant transaction work.

Your new job
As a Tax Director you will take a lead on the private client team looking to grow the heads within department and over time the fee income. You will predominantly be advising on a range of private equity transactions covering areas such EIS advance assurance, other share schemes, restructuring and capital tax planning.

The firm have a strong pipeline of work and see this as a key growth area for the tax department. As the Tax Director you will work with the partners to formulate and implement a growth strategy, taking an active role in business development and networking and taking ownership on the makeup of your team.

In this Tax Director role you will have unlimited opportunity to progress to partnership with the successful growth of your fee line.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking a highly experienced CTA / ACA qualified tax director or senior manager who has a proven track record of managing a team and a considerable fee income. This role offers excellent exposure across a range of transactions and M&A work so you must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge in this area and the ability to liaise and advise confidently with clients.

The partners are looking to appoint a commercially astute Tax Director / Senior Manager who is experienced pitching for work, can demonstrate strong leadership skills and has the ambition to progress to partnership.
