My client, an investment firm based in central London, is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their outstanding team and work closely with the Financial Controller. This company would be an excellent first move from practice for anyone looking to get into a business with a very good reputation and a truly fantastic benefits package.

The main responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:
  • Assisting the Head of Financial Accounting in all aspects of financial accounts and reconciliations
  • Group monthly reporting
  • Ownership of the balance sheet
  • Assist the Head of Financial Accounting in the designing, planning and implementing any ad-hoc projects for streamlining the financial accounting function
  • To ensure the financial ledgers are reconciled on a periodic basis and the maintenance of key controls.

The ideal candidate for this role will be fully qualified with a strong practice background and from a Big 4 Practice.  As this role involves a lot of interpersonal skills, someone with a bit of natural gravitas would be ideal.
