Top 20 Opportunity for an Audit Manager / SM based in Manchester City Centre.

Your new firm
A Top 20 Firm of Chartered Accountants based are looking to appoint an Audit Senior Manager / Manager to join their reputable Manchester office. This job opportunity has been created following a period of sustained growth and a portfolio will be carved out for the successful individual dependent on their client exposure.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior Manager you will be allocated a portfolio of clients which will include OMBs, international businesses and UK based subsidiaries for which you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering both audit and accounts assignments. Your work will be weighted roughly 60% audit 40% accounts however there can be some flex in this dependent on your skill set. You will work alongside the other managers to oversee the department with direct line management for some of the team providing a thorough review of audit files and you will play an active role in tenders and pitches for new work.

The firm operate a hybrid working policy where you will be required to spend around 50% of time in the office or out on site.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA qualified) who has operated at manager level delivering audit assignments. You must be comfortable managing your own portfolio and deadlines and be technically astute. The firm will consider junior managers looking to move to a progressive firm where they can forge their career or an experienced manager looking to secure a better work life balance. The preference is to secure a manager who has gained some general practice experience however Top 10 audit managers will also be considered.
