Senior Finance Analyst
£45,000 - £50,000, Bonus, plus benefits

Hamilton Woods is assisting a dynamic and growing multi-faceted, Construction business with the appointment of a newly created Senior Finance Analyst opportunity, whilst the business continues its growth plans across its various regions. Reporting to the Finance Director and joining a rapidly growing team, you will be instrumental in assisting the business through its evolution which makes this an exciting time to join this progressive organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be responsible for the financial and management reporting process for your national sites.
- Continuously seek to find process efficiencies in the current financial control and reporting processes, streamlining and improving our approach wherever possible.
- Take a leading role in the review and control of the integrity of financial reporting, including supporting the preparation of monthly profit and cash flow forecasts and the annual budget.
- Provide financial support to the department heads of the region, to identify and define the information required to improve the reporting and understanding of management information.
- You will be responsible for carrying out financial modelling to support business decisions, working closely with the Factory Director to achieve long term goals.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of VAT and CIS returns
- To be a key interface with the external audit team, taking a leading role in supporting on both internal and external audits.
- You will continuously seek to find process efficiencies in the current financial control and reporting processes, streamlining and improving our approach wherever possible.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with a minimum of 1-year post-qualified experience.
- You may have been involved with the preparation of Board Reports which highlight and analyse financial results.
- You may have working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, which is not essential but is highly advantageous for the role.
