A leading accountancy practice is looking for a highly competent and experienced accountant to join their busy Music & Entertainment team!
This is an all-encompassing role that will see you manage the day to day financial affairs of your clients through to preparing the year end accounts, whilst also overseeing the work of junior members of staff and trainees. The role:
  • Manage the day to day financial reporting, budgeting, bookkeeping and payments of clients within the Music & Entertainment industries (including HNWI, independent businesses and incorporated companies)
  • Prepare tour budgets and tour accounting including reconciliation of tour settlements
  • Alongside the manager, ensure that all statutory deadlines and requirements are met for all accounts, tax, VAT & other financials
  • Prepare year end accounts to include P11d, Personal/company/partnership returns are filed and paid on time
  • Prepare & review VAT returns and account for VAT consideration for international invoices
  • Be first point of contact for client’s personal accounting affairs, liaising with external stakeholders including advisors & third parties
  • Delegate and oversee the processing of client payments
  • Assist with clients with foreign taxes and overseas compliance
  
  
The person:
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 4 years experience gained within an accountancy practice
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player who is able to build healthy working relationships
  • Strong technical, commercial and risk awareness
  • Genuine interest in the music & entertainment industry
  • Exceptional work ethic, always striving to provide the best possible service to clients
  • Self motivated, able to work autonomously deadline driven and great attention to detail
  • Confident, approachable and logical
