Accounts Assistant, Production Company, Soho, £26-28k

Brilliant opportunity for an Accounts Assistant looking for their 2^nd role within Finance. We are working with an independent live & online production company who have newly created this finance position. You will be will be responsible for handling the Company Accounts purchase invoices for the Productions and several of their subsidiary companies and managing the related Accounts Payable ledgers.

Reporting into the Company Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Receiving, opening and logging invoices on the ledgers, processing the payment runs on a weekly basis
• Reconciling statements and filing hard copy invoices and related accounts payable paperwork. 
• Additional work to include reconciliations of online receipts for credit card transactions generated through company websites and posting into ledgers.
• Processing company expenses
• Opportunity to assist the management accountant with producing the management accounts 
• Month end duties
• Attending regular meetings with the finance team
• Ad hoc work as and when requested
• Tasks will be flexible, so we’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude.
• Role can be office based or Remote

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• AP experience is essential
• Experience of Sage and experience using an expense management is beneficial
• Good team player but also happy to work unsupervised
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Experience of and confidence in using databases and spreadsheets (Excel)
• Strong administrative and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
